Through a comprehensive, robust and holistic approach, T-PAP aims to provide age-appropriate knowledge, information and train young girls and women of reproductive age in a scientifically sound and accurate manner, on fundamental menstrual health understanding and information related to Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS).
Through creative means such as storybooks and information guides, the projects addresses and simplifies the scientific and symptomatic understanding of PMOS for children and girls, while attempting to also demystify and destigmatize the condition in society as well, so that open dialogue and community support systems can be created. Additionally, T-PAP aims at providing access to healthcare through regular health check-up centres and access to healthcare professionals for women and girls residing in these areas.
T-PAP aspires to address the issue both socio-culturally and medically: providing consistent access to healthcare for women and girls, while working with them towards removing barriers and existing taboo surrounding PMOS and overall menstrual health.
